About

My work for the past few years has used an in-depth view of electronic dance music culture in our society today. In a world where music brings people together, I find myself drawn to the sound of EDM and the culture it brings with it. As a filmmaker, I’ve found that the best way to be apart of this wonderful culture was to be able to capture it through both still and moving images.

My work ranges from clubs and small events to concerts and festivals around the country and even the world. I often like to take a cinematic approach to filming these events, I like to use the natural light of the environment to guide me in the process of how I compose my pictures and videos. I tend to stay away from using an LED light because it takes away from the experience of what’s actually occurring in the moment.

These environments, both small and big, are often unpredictable and Im always on my feet ready to capture, because capturing the right moment can make or break a video or photo.

My overall goal in creating my work is to evoke emotion, I want the viewer to feel something, no matter the context. I want to capture the magic the event, I want the viewer to feel as if they’re there. My work has a very cinematic look and feel to it, usually accompanied by a shallow depth of field, smooth movements, and sometimes a steady flow from one shot to the next. I like to accomplish this flow by matching movements from various shots so they all connect. When it comes to hardstyle music like dubstep, my edits tend to capture the energy from the shows and the music being used in the edit, along with the overall vibe of the event. These edits are sometimes intense and effect heavy.

These videos are meant to be viewed by those who are apart of the EDM culture, allowing them to relive the magic of the event of entice them to come to the next one. These videos can be used for promotional or documentary purposes or both depending on what the client wants.

I am still developing my vision in how I want my videos and photos to look, but I feel like Im close to developing a strong style that makes me stand out from the rest in a market that’s oversaturated with other creators.

My current work is immensely better than my previous work from when I first started shooting videos back in 2017. I knew when I first started that I had good eye for what looked good and what didn’t, and after I really started getting bigger bookings is when my skills and editing really skyrocketed into who Ive become today.

Combining my passion for music and filmmaking has been a goal of mine that I have achieved in a much shorter time period than I thought possible. It has taken me to many amazing places and has brought me beautiful friendships that I will cherish forever.
